Teacher of Science required for a September 2017 start

Sydenham School is seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and creative teacher of Science to join our high-performing Science Faculty. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and must be able to demonstrate the drive and interpersonal skills required to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and forward thinking faculty team whose practice has led to year on year improving outcomes for students above the national average at GCSE and A Level.

Sydenham School is an 11-18 girls’ non-selective school, popular and well regarded in the local community, with a fully comprehensive intake.

We have high ambitions for our students and are proud to be able to enthuse our students to progress to success in higher education and the vocational sector. You will be committed to inspiring students to be independent learners, able to take responsibility for their learning and in building a portfolio of work to support their chosen progression route.  There will be the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range from Year 7 up to and including A level.
