Teaching Assistants required ASAP

Mon – Fri 27 hours per week – TTO + INSET (39 weeks)

Salary – Sc4 (points 19 – 21) £22,218 to £23,610 pro rata, actual salary £14,624 per annum

Sydenham School are seeking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will assist the Inclusion Team in addressing the needs of our students to overcome barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

You will be working in our Inclusion Faculty and across the school under the guidance of teaching staff and our SENCO. You will provide support in addressing the needs of students who require particular help to make sustained or improved progress.

We are keen to receive applications from experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates interested in a career in Education. If you have general classroom teaching assistant experience, experience in EAL and/ or behaviour experience we would like to hear from you.

Sydenham School is an 11-16 girls’ school with a mixed sixth form, popular and well regarded in the local community, with a fully comprehensive intake. Student Welfare Administrator required ASAP

Mon-Fri 35 hours per week – Hours 8.30 am to 4.30 pm  – Term time + INSET = 39 weeks

Salary Sc4 (pts 19 – 21) £22,218 - £23,610 pro-rata, actual salary £18,956 per annum

Sydenham School is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated Administrator. You will have a friendly, calm and approachable manner.  You will be a customer focused person who is the first point of contact for students requiring first aid and welfare support.  You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to be flexible in responding effectively to a range of diverse demands.  You will enjoy working with students and have experience of working with teenagers.  You will also be capable and experienced administrator.

Examination Invigilators required during examination periods only

Invigilators (Scale 4 point 19)

Senior Examination Invigilators (Scale 5 point 23)

We require a pool of Exam Invigilators for the forthcoming examination sessions to ensure that exam regulations and standards are met. These temporary roles are ideal for candidates looking for flexible and seasonal work.

PLEASE STATE CLEARLY WHICH ROLE YOU ARE APPLYING FOR

All successful applicants will be required to attend a training session.

Duties may include:

  • Setting out and collecting exam papers and materials

  • Admitting students to the exam room

  • Monitoring the exam hall to ensure that students do not cheat

  • Scribing and reading for students.

 

Shifts operate from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 12:30pm to 5:00pm Monday - Friday
